Everything else around your happiness is just background noise

Dreaming was never a waste of time for me, I've learned that they can come true anytime-anywhere only when I did something authentic to make my dream come true.

The thing is dreams don't have the perfect scenary , they never happen at my own time and they never happen exactly how I planed them. That's what I love about dreams, that they come true in an unpredictable way.

I've always had a passion for salsa Latin dance and an enormous admiration for street salsa. Ever since I saw the movie "Dirty dancing 2- Havana nights, I had this dream to fly to Cuba and dance salsa on the streets of Havana.

Every new years Eve I would add that dream to my three dreams to accomplish list and worked to save money for a trip to Cuba.

But since life is everything that happens when we're too busy making other plans, I decided to take a break and join a "Taglit" group from Argentina on an artistic trip as a local companion.

On that trip we visited a market where they were playing Latin music on high speakers, and I had an idea to ask one of the guys on that trip that knew to dance salsa if he want's us to dance salsa in the middle of the market and he agreed. So I told him to pick a good salsa cover song and we plugged his cel to the speakers and there we were dancing salsa in the middle of the street. I remember feeling the salsa music run through my body like electrifying sparkles accompanied by a nervous happy laugh and butterflies in my tummy. And if I can put that feeling into words it was mind blowing, my feets were swaying softly to the beat and it felt great to spontaneously accomplish my dream.

I then realized that I can live a life full of accomplished dreams if I don't limit my dreams to a specific destination and act in the moment with a creative idea to make my dreams come true. A wise man once said: find something that makes you happy and do it because everything else is just background noise, same goes for dreams, as long as you accomplish the dreams that bring a smile out of you, the rest is just background noise.
